Olaf Jansen

“I’m 41 years old, husband and father of three children. We live in Biezenmortel, a typical village in Brabant, at walking distance from the beautiful nature reserve de Loonse en Drunense Duinen, where we enjoy our hobby farm with chicken, sheep a horse and three dogs.

I am an avid triathlete and can officially call myself an “Ironman” after completing the longest distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running). In 2019 I used this sporty drive to raise money for the Kika Foundation, by completing half an Ironman in Vichy (Fr). For me, sport is more than just physical exertion: it gives me energy, creative ideas and helps me focus on the goals I want to achieve.”

Olaf started his career at the Royal Navy’s Submarine Servive as a specialist in communications and weapon systems. From 2005 to 2012, Olaf worked in various roles at EON Benelux (now Uniper) and since 2012 Olaf has been active for various clients within the energy sector, with a major focus on Project and Operations Management.

His strength lies in his ability to solve complex technical and organizational problems while never losing sight of his customers’ needs and desires.
